RECOGNISING WISDOM TOOTH ISSUES
Are You Experiencing Tooth Pain?
If you’re experiencing pain at the back of your mouth, swelling, difficulty chewing, or a persistent bad taste, these could be signs of wisdom teeth problems.
Pain at the back of the mouth is a common symptom of impacted wisdom teeth, which occurs when the teeth do not have enough room to emerge or grow in proper alignment.
An impacted wisdom tooth can lead to inflammation of the surrounding gum tissue and even contribute to developing cysts or infections.
Swelling may occur due to the wisdom teeth pushing against adjacent teeth or impacting the surrounding soft tissues. Difficulty chewing often results from the discomfort and limited space caused by problematic wisdom teeth, making it challenging to bite and chew food properly.
Our dentists in Homebush can diagnose the source of your pain, and whether wisdom teeth removal is an appropriate solution.
TIMELY ACTION FOR HEALTHY TEETH
The Urgency of Wisdom Tooth Extraction
Delaying wisdom teeth solutions can lead to an abundance of complications, including impaction, infection, and damage to adjacent teeth.
Infection is a significant risk associated with untreated wisdom teeth problems. If left unaddressed, bacteria can quickly accumulate around partially erupted or impacted wisdom teeth, leading to gum disease, dental abscesses, and even systemic infections.
