Brighten Your Smile with Teeth Whitening Homebush West

Teeth whitening at Henley Dental only takes around an hour to complete under the supervision of our specialist dentists. During treatment, a strong bleaching gel is quickly applied to your teeth. Remarkably, this gives you up to five shades of whiter teeth within 1-2 hours. With our TV and Netflix options, you can even lay back and watch your favourite flick while you’re having your treatment conducted.

Many DIY teeth whitening products specifically refer to surface stain removal as their primary whitening method. However, removing surface stains only restores teeth to their natural colour; meaning that your teeth might not even be ‘whitened’. The dentists at Henley Dental have undergone years of training and education in oral health care, including the safe use of whitening agents. As an added bonus, the professional products used by our dentists are typically more effective than store-bought kits. Plus, our dentists specialise in removing just about all surface stains (including those between the teeth), thus giving you a whiter, fresher appearance.

The results can last anywhere from six months to several years, depending on individual factors such as oral hygiene habits and lifestyle choices like smoking or drinking dark-colored beverages. In addition, touch-up treatments may be needed to maintain your desired level of brightness.

It’s best to avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes after a teeth whitening procedure. Avoiding dark-coloured foods and drinks, such as red wine and coffee, for the first 24 hours after the procedure can also help maintain the whiteness of your teeth.

When performed by a dental professional, teeth whitening is safe and effective. However, over-the-counter products can be damaging to your teeth and gums if used improperly. It’s important only to have teeth whitening performed by a dental professional.
