They can correct a multitude of imperfections, including:

  • Covering chips, cracks and discolouration

  • They look & feel natural

  • Get your confidence in your smile back

  • Changing the colour and shape of teeth

  • Making crooked teeth appear straight

  • Correcting gaps and spaces between teeth

Your First appointment

At your first appointment your Homebush Dentist will assess your suitability for Veneers. After taking a look at your teeth, we will take some x-rays, scans and photos of your smile, which will be used to create accurate 3D digital images using our innovative software. We will then talk through the treatment plan, answering any questions and showing you a preview of how your smile will look after treatment

Your Individualised Treatment Plan

With all of this information we will create a unique treatment plan based on your individual smile and lifestyle. It may be the case that treatment is needed to address any oral health issues before placing the Veneers.

Treatment Procedure

To fit porcelain veneers, a dentist will first remove some enamel and take an impression of the teeth to create a mold.

After this, we will start creating the custom-fit porcelain veneers, but in the meantime your Homebush Dentist may place temporary veneers on the teeth while you wait for permanent ones.

When your veneers are ready we will test whether or not the veneers fit and are a good colour, and make any adjustments as needed.

Then, our dentist will bond the veneers to the teeth.

Your Final Appointment

Once the Veneers have healed, at your final appointment, your Homebush Dentist will ensure that all the Porcelain Veneers are securely fixed and you have the smile of your dreams.

  • How much do Dental Crowns cost?
Dental Crowns can range in price depending on the material used in the crown and the size of the tooth. Crowns can be made from porcelain, ceramic, and metal, but porcelain crowns are the most popular because they look more natural since they can be colour-matched to your existing teeth. To find out more about our pricing, feel free to contact us to discuss our payment options.
  • How long do Dental Crowns last?
The lifespan of a crown can vary between 5 and 15 years. Some crowns are sturdier than others, and may last 25 - 30 years. Just like natural teeth, you need to maintain Dental Crowns properly with regular 6-monthly check-up appointments, and brushing and flossing at home.
  • Is the Dental Crown procedure painful?
As with most types of dental work, many patients express concern about possible pain and discomfort involved with the procedure. However, the crown process is incredibly common and is typically very easy for both the dentist and the patient, resulting in minimal discomfort throughout the entire process.
  • How long does it take to see results?
Using our CEREC machine we can create same Day Dental Crowns so in just one consultation you can see results. However, treatment times vary from patient to patient, some people see results after 2-3 visits if other dental work is required.
  • Can I use my Health Fund for Dental Crowns with Henley Dental?
In some cases, the answer is yes. If you're insured, there is a good chance your health insurance policy covers your Dental Crown treatment. Most private health insurance funds cover dental care as part of their General treatment, Extras, or Ancillary section. If you have any price-related questions, feel free to contact us on: (02) 9763 7889 discuss our payment options.
